About Aperture Intelligence

A Singapore-based executive intelligence platform.

Why we built this

Senior leaders, GCs, founders, and BD heads all spend an hour every morning reading the same five tabs. Aperture collapses that hour into five minutes by clustering overlapping coverage into single multi-source stories — synthesized in your role's language, with takeaways and action items.

We do not run ads, do not sell your data, and do not train models on your reading history.

Founder, On The Ground

Hao Jun is the founder of On The Ground, a Singapore-based AI products studio shipping practitioner-grade tools across executive intelligence, legal, healthcare, and civic technology. He works with policy-makers, in-house counsel, clinical leads, and operators on the questions where domain knowledge and AI tooling intersect.

Reach him on LinkedIn or at aperture.intelligence@ontheground.agency.

Other On The Ground products:

  • Legal Box — free, open-source AI tools for law firms (contract review, case search, drafting) that run entirely on hardware the firm owns, so no client data ever leaves the building.
  • OTG HRMS — free, self-hostable HR management for Singapore SMEs: leave, claims, benefits, and policies, without a vendor holding your employees' data.
  • Visible In SG — a warm, curated directory for Singapore-based professionals open to work, freelance, or consulting.
  • aigowhere.com — a community-built directory of AI-first companies, builders, and projects in Singapore, expanding to ASEAN, Dubai, and the world.
  • Singapore: The Improbable Nation — a civic project on Singapore's nation-building story.
  • Legally First — commentary and resources on AI and the law for Singapore's legal sector.
  • The Legal AI Prompt Library

How we choose sources

Each focus area has a curated source set chosen for editorial credibility, depth, and timeliness. You can also add any custom URL — the platform extracts the article and includes it in synthesis.

Aperture only ever uses publicly available sources you authorize, and credits every story with the underlying publishers.

How AI is used (and limited)

Briefings are generated using Claude (Anthropic) and search infrastructure from Perplexity. Every claim is traceable back to a named source. We do not generate facts; we cluster, synthesize, and analyze coverage that publishers wrote.

AI outputs are designed to assist decision-making, not replace it. See our Terms of Service for full disclosures.
